We love books. Better yet, we love personal development books. We enjoy sitting with a book and learning new skills or ways to do things better – it’s a win-win when the benefits are two-fold.
It might only be the end of January, but we’ve already knocked off a couple of books on our list for this year (they were just THAT good!) so we thought we would share what’s on our reading list so far, in hopes that one or two might jump out at you to lend you a helping hand.
Drum roll, please…
The first two I completed before January 7th and I’ve been working through Deep Work since. It’s a much harder read as there is a lot more research included in it (so if you aren’t into that, you may want to head to the next one on the list). But I am fascinated and want to learn all I can on focus / deep work, so I’m committed to finishing this book.
I can say that there is definitely a theme to my book selection right now. And if I didn’t know it at the time of adding these to my collection, I’m sure aware of it now. It’s all about the brain, focusing, and how to make it work best for you. I feel most of these, if not all, fall into one of those categories – even if just the smallest amount.
Either way, this is probably one of the best lineups I’ve had waiting for me in a long time and I am excited to share with you what I learn along the way.
